Yale Student Science Diplomats aims to foster a scientifically informed electorate, which we pursue through science communication, advocacy, and policy initiatives.
The Yale Student Science Diplomats are a group of graduate students and postdocs passionate about science policy and advocacy. YSSD began in 2007, when a group of graduate students founded a “Scientists and Engineers of America” (SEA) chapter at Yale, which has since become Yale Student Science Diplomats. We focus on advocacy at the local, state and federal levels, as well as science policy career exploration.
