As the GOP tax plan headed to the conference committee, Yale Science Diplomats and friends mobilized to write op-eds and letters to the editor of their local hometown papers:

Thanks to pressure from activism across the country, the tax-exempt status of tuition waivers (and the student loan interest deduction) remained intact in the final bill!
